Playstation 5 May Release in 2020 - Here's What You Need To Know!

According to many sources, it's been said that Sony's PS5 is in development and may launch as soon as next year which is 2020. There have been a lot of rumors regarding it's release and some sources say it may launch in 2021 or late 2020 but there's no confirmation yet by Sony.


Fans are hoping that Sony will very soon announce PS5 and probably during E3 2019 event but it's very less likely to happen. Recently there has been a confirmation that AMD will be supplying hardware for the next generation console. Playstation 5 will most likely to cost more than PS4 it did on launch and the suggested price tag is set at $500. Call of Duty Black Ops 5 may be the first game that will be released on the PS5 console and it's already in talks that Activision is developing Black Ops 5 as the next game in the franchise. So yes it's confirmed that in 2020 Call of Duty Black Ops 5 will be released. In other reports, it's been said that a new Premium version of PS Plus will be launched after the console release.

According to a report from BGR, PS5 could launch in November 2020.

PS5 will definitely be very much powerful than the predecessor console PS4 and will bring new kinds of innovations in the console gaming. We could expect more of the Virtual Reality (VR) gaming and as 5G is also set to launch very soon, we can expect a lot of new things.

In an interview, Cerny confirmed that PS5 will come with SSD as an storage hardware which is a very great thing. Till now, every console has only HDD storage and bringing SSD in consoles will do a lot of wonders in gaming loading times. This will surely reduce the loading times of games to a very large extent and games will be able to load within seconds and will run very much faster than it may on HDD.

It's showed that in SSD Spider-Man PS4 takes only 0.8 seconds to load while in HDD it takes up to 15 seconds in PS4. Now you can notice the difference and it's huge.

It's been speculated that the games that will release on PS5 and they are: GTA 6, Elder Scrolls 6, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us Part 2, Call of Duty Black Ops 5 and many more games.

Recently Sony and Microsoft teamed up for Cloud Gaming and we can expect partnerships with the next generation console, in other news Xbox Two will likely launch in 2020 too and may be announced this year very soon. But Sony will be not at this year's E3 2019. While some sources say that the reason behind the partnership of Sony and Microsoft is to rival Google's upcoming Google Stadia.

Talking about the backwards compatibility of PS5, you will be able to play all your PS4 games on PS5. And definitely yes you will be able to play all your PS4 games with higher frame rates and graphics quality on the next generation console. PS5 may also support quality up to 8K. Imagine 8K gaming on your console, that will be powerful!
